Isak Kimono Jacket
Isak's Story:
In the early 1900s Danish writer Karen Blixen was jilted at the altar and ran off to Kenya with the groom’s brother to start a new life. Her story is one of turning adversity into opportunity and defying her limitations. Carving out her own life, along with her place in history, her written accounts of those years under the pen name Isak Denisen became the inspiration for the movie, “Out of Africa.”
Our Isak Kimono is a tribute to her courage and panache. Blurring the lines between the monochromatic ivories of British Colonial style and the bold, colorful graphics of the native tribes, it shimmers and glows like a mirage on the plains. The blending of two very different worlds, the result is a stunning show stopper of fresh sophistication and pizazz.
Out of Africa and into your closet. Wear it with intention. It will open doors.
