Elle's story:
Elle has always had a flair for dressing well. At times she can be downright glamorous. She has the confidence and panache to pull if off without seeming inauthentic. She’s learned how to embrace her dramatic side with grace and relaxed sophistication. Her charismatic personality just seems to come naturally. Or is it the clothes she wears that inspire her confidence? Whatever it is, it’s working for her.
On a whim, our Elle Kimono decided it wanted to be a dress! We created an inset in the front with snaps and velcro closures and took some tucks in the back at the waist, creating a more tailored silhouette. The deep side slits are kept a bit more closed with the addition of tabs at the top, and we added a strip of matching trim to the front patch pockets.
A new Obi belt gives the waist more definition. The dress also comes with the original kimono sash belt, which is another option. Amazingly flattering for sizes Medium to Large, our Elle kimono highlights a woman's best features and brings out her amazing confidence.
