J.MULLIN APPAREL ON THE RUNWAY AT KANSAS CITY FASHION WEEK.

For the first time since moving to Kansas City five years ago, J.Mullin Apparel participated in Kansas City Fashion Week by producing a runway show.

Twelve looks were created for the show, which had the theme, "A Weekend in Saint Tropez." Inspired by the impressionist artists of the mid century and the South of France resort lifestyle of the 1960s and 70s, we created a series of looks for women and men based on kimono-inspired jackets and robes. Looks ranged from poolside leisure looks to elegant evening looks.

The whole experience of putting together a team of models, hair and make-up artists and photographers under the coordination of a great stylist was such an enjoyable journey for me. Getting to know all of the people on my team was the greatest reward of all.

J.MULLIN KIMONO FEATURED IN
IN KANSAS CITY MAGAZINE.

Our Drew Tunic Kimono has been featured in a sidebar to the main feature article in the May issue of IN Kansas City Magazine!

The Article, "Girlfriends' Getaways," appears on page 60 of the magazine, and the sidebar with our kimono is on page 65.  Click on the link below to read the entire article, which was written by my good friend, Katie VanLuchene. Each of the destinations she highlights looks like a fabulous destination.  I'm adding them to my Bucket List!
