Shades of Things to Come

Anticipating the Vibrant and Colorful Days of Fall

A recent trip to a fabric show in Philadelphia was so inspiring and motivating to me. There's nothing quite like touching and feeling the rich nubby textures and seeing the vivid colors playing against each other. As I think about the new Fall Collection of kimonos we are about to debut in person, I smile just thinking of the gorgeous combinations of fabrics, colors and textures. Each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art.

We will be announcing some debut events soon, but in the meantime, please take a look at our Fall Collection pieces that are already on our website. If you see something you like, be sure to order it so you can try it on. Shipping and returns are free, so go ahead and order one or two of your favorites, so you can see how they make you look and feel. Since they each are a one-of-a-kind piece, you won't want to miss out on owning the one that you love.

We have also been working on three new designs for Spring 2022, and selecting the fabrics for that collection. There are a lot of good things coming your way!

Did you know that each one of our kimonos is named for a woman who has inspired or influenced us in some way? We wrote a little story about each of them that helps bring the unique personality of each kimono to life. Because each kimono features repurposed fabrics, there are layers of stories pieced together on each garment.

They each have a story of their own to tell that's almost as fascinating as your own. Some of the names are fictional -- and even some of their stories are compilations, but we think you'll recognize some of our cast of characters. Just click on any kimono in our online catalog to go to the story behind the piece. Which ones are your favorites?
